British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi

Yesterday evening British Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi Vocational and Academic Education Committee hosted our first sector focus event.

With thanks to hosts Amity International School Abu Dhabi for the fantastic venue, we heard from an esteemed panel of stakeholders representing both vocational and academic education, professional institutes and industry. Under the theme ‘Bridging the Gap between Academic and Vocational Education’ moderated by our BCC AD Education Sector Lead Ghanim Kashwani, the discussion was fascinating and covered the role of family and culture, as well as education and professional institutes, in educating our future leaders for both business, and indeed, life.

This event was the first for this Committee focused on promoting the collaborative role between the industrial and education sectors within the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. This is with the long-term aim to enable better business outcomes for our members, and to provide a forum for stakeholders within the corporate, education and vocational sectors.

Thank you to our panelists:
